About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Planning many mini-adventures!
ABOUT ME
I have no prejudices against any person or race and actively encourage diversity, individuality and multi-culturism in all society. As a person I would say that I'm pretty laid back and outgoing. I like to have good conversations and meet new friends from all over the world.
I would also say I'm pretty generous and like to see other people having a good time.
I'm normally fairly relaxed about life but organised at the same time and hate being late if I can avoid it.
I'm really open-minded and willing to give anything a try, there is nothing much I strongly dislike.
PHILOSOPHY
Try not to get hung up on mistakes. Always try the unknown and put yourself in challenging and uncomfortable situations, it is in this way that we learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to welcome people to my city, show them around the city (if I have the time)and have good evenings together whether that be drinks in the local pub or dinner at my place.
I love the outdoors and l also go hiking/hillwalking and camping all the time. My friends are always keen to involve new people so if your keen to try some hiking in summer or rock climbing you are more than welcome to join!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only ever hosted a few people and I can only say positive things about it! A few have come and gone having good times in the process, whilst a few I have made friends for life.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach very little well. Maybe how to fillet a fish properly or Scottish mountain geography?
Things I'd quite like to learn: More languages and also improve the ones I know, different types of cuisines/wines, lots about world religion, and how to skip!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have 2 couches and also floor space for people who are slightly more numerous. Unfortunately I work during the day but can entertain during the evening.
I mostly go away during the weekend but if you like the outdoors and there is still space in the car you are definitely welcome to join.
