About Me

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. - Aristotle

We were married in a castle in Scotland in 2008 and own a Prohibition-era speakeasy in the historic district of Newport News. We are currently traveling the world as Chris does an international rotation with his job and Monica pursues her Executive Masters with Syracuse.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. - Mark Twain

If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay at home. - James A. Michener

Toured the Mississippi Blues Trail. Cruised around the Hubbard Glacier on a warm active day. Saw the Pope in Rome. Gazed at the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall and Big Ben. Always looking for somewhere else to roam. Every travel experience is unique. Most amazing is what's yet to come.
