Overview
About Me
I am 23 years old and I like to meet people, dance, have good conversations, drink beer and/or wine, go out, talk about common interests and just have a good time. I am friendly and, even though I am a declared nightlife and techno music lover, I am open to new experiences and cultural exchanges in general. Like walking around in the city and get lost in it w/ no particular destination. Sometimes I get tired and remember that couches and Netflix exist. It takes nice people to feel comfortable around me and vice versa, basically I don't like racism, sexism, homophobia or any kind of harmful judgement. As a Brazilian guy, I'd say I have that kind of inherent "uplifting latin personality", good sense of humor (seriously!! prepare to laugh), affection and curiosity.
Music is my life. I work as an electronic music journalist and social media marketeer.
I am clueless about cooking but love cooking and I am eager to learn - or at least improvise with the ingredients available.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel lucky to have finally conquered the job I always wanted, which is a simple job that makes it possible for me to be anywhere I want, to work online, to plan my own work hours, to write about the places I go and to see life as a great adventure. Besides that, leaving my apartment, selling my car, getting rid of superfluous things and negative friendships, making my whole life fit into 1 backpack and 1 suitcase might honestly have been the best decision I made this year.
These past few months have been mu first experience outside Brazil, so I'm in that honeymoon phase where everything seems interesting and different to me. I've been successfully "testing" the whole Work+Travel thing through the beautiful cities of Brazil and I have never felt happier. Now it's time to step up my game and enjoy what Europe has to offer. Couchsurfing seems like a good option for me because I am not the usual tourist person. Despite the fact I do want to meet a few of the key touristic places, it's not 100% my vibe, because the truest and most meaningful experiences don't really come from those places, they come from human interaction, exploring the city, the alternatives and the perspective of the local people.
I had my first couchsurfing experience in Athens accompanying my friend and it was very positive!

Music, Movies, and Books
Techno and house music lover.
I watch dozens of TV shows - I like having the proper time to fall in love w/ the characters - but I also enjoy good movies.
More a writer than a reader.
Love to go to music festivals, my favorite ones being Lollapalooza Brazil, Awakenings and Tomorrowland in this order. Recently, Melt festival in Germany was amazing. I also love underground festivals such as Dekmantel and DGTL. I have great memories from my time going to music festivals in nature in the countryside of Brazil - still carry a lot of friends from that time. My next festival will be Creamfields.
Warehouse parties, pubs, house parties with nice people, improvised, non-sophisticated substantial things? I love it. Staying at home just drinking beer and talking about things? Love it too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Greece with very little money and got to do every amazing thing I wanted just by being a nice person, a good listener, a good talker and by giving back the love that beautiful country gave me. Gifting is powerful!
Lost my passport in Berlin one day before a trip scheduled to Holland and convinced the embassy to produce a new one in less than 4 hours.
Did work meetings on Skype while at a music festival.
Won a singing contest (I don't sing!!) because I sang Amy Winehouse in the day she died.
Talked with a couple that was about to break up and made them work out their differences and get back together hahaha
Did a party in Brussels in my hotel room w/ people from 7 different nationalities - and even one of the receptionists went to have fun.
Swam with the fish in Bahia - Brazil (one of the best memories I have).
Took my mom to a huge free fall ride at an amusement park (it was a pendulum that most of the ride was freefalling and then next to the floor the ropes you catch you). She still resents me a little bit about it.
Made friends with an Uber driver in Rio de Janeiro. He ended up not charging me and my friend for the ride, went with us to a bar, next morning we all woke up next to an airplane parking lot.
Started a big dancing contest w/ over 100 people at a festival.
Almost fell off a waterfall in Minas Gerais - Brazil and got saved in the last second. Okay, that is not a good memory, but STILL.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing is important. I'll be as curious about the things you like as you'll be about the things I like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to talk about pretty much anything and everything. But since I work with electronic music, if you're open to knowing more about this big and beautiful community I'm the guy for it!
