Overview
About Me
I am a medical student who really likes learning languages, reading and meeting new people from all over the world.
I am here to meet people from other countries, with other cultures; people who speak other languages, who have different stories...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I can't afford a travel around the world at this moment, meeting foreigners who come to Mexico City is my opportunity to be in touch with other cultures.
Interests
We are more than seven billion people in this world, speaking and thinking in about six thousand languages, many of which will eventually disappear. Learning some languages will not change this reality, but perhaps will help us to better understand each other.
There are, also, a lot of things that cannot be said but in their original language, untranslatable words that cannot be well understood or felt but in the way that they have been thought.
...
Reading and learning languages are my biggest passions. Besides, I like listening to music and meeting new people. I am an old soul and enjoy simple things in this life. Cinema and theatre are other two things that I really like.

Teach, Learn, Share
If someone has any trouble with Spanish, I can help. I want to practice the languages that I speak (Romanian, Portuguese and English) and to improve those ones that I learn (French and Italian). I also learn Russian, Czech and Polish, but I am a beginner in these languages. I am trying to learn some basic Arabic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show some amazing places that are beyond the headlines in Mexico City. I am not a guide, and I do not pretend to be one (I would like, though), but I do enjoy showing my city and telling what I know about my culture and history.
