My path was the same as for many others, school, get a job and raise a family.
Presently my two kids are teenagers and I decided to take my own way and trying to get the best life can give ... travelling!
Since I did too late, one of my targets is also to raise this will to my both kids and I'm being successfull!
Has money doesn't fall from the sky, I still work in a shipping company and have a own biz with my two younger bothers ... a bar in Lisbon city center!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My kids are living with their mother, so my apartment is often "empty" of people.
So since I cannot travel all year I host travelers so they can bring their stories to me. It's a great way of "travelling", knowing new people and show them how we live around here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Thailand, Vietname and Cambodia for two and a half weeks with eleven flights and two 9 hours trains! So many beautifull places I've been, so many people I met and I dealed with their own culture 100%.
This was my first contact with Asia and it was really amazing! I hope to have more opportunities like these.
