I am a pretty easy-going and laid back guy, I enjoy meeting interesting and intelligent people and exploring new places.

兴趣

I am a PhD student so I study a lot. However, I like to travel to new places whenever I have time available. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing or anything that puts one in full contact with nature. A glass of wine or beer with friends is always welcome, and I occasionally go to clubs to party.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: anything, really. From classical and jazz to punk rock and electronic and passing through progressive rock and folk, I can literally listen to anything. What I am listening at a specific moment depends more on my mood and the atmosphere of the moment itself. Usually when I'm with friends I like to listen to cheerful music, be it Offspring or David Guetta or whatever.

Books: I'm a bookworm, and much of my work involves reading. I also try to think of myself as a writer (haven't published a book yet, but I'm about to finish my first), and the style I enjoy the most is the "stream of consciousness school" - people like James Joyce, William Faulkner and Virginia Woolf.

Movies: 2001: a Space Odissey, a Clockwork Orange, Inception, the Dark Knight, Pink Floyd: the movie, Eyes Wide Shut, Mulholland Drive, and many many more.

Teach: I can teach you math and physics if you need it (I work with String theory) and also Portuguese or Spanish. And how to play the guitar or keyboards.

Learn: I'm always up to learn something new - doesn't really matter what it is, really.
