Im a Brazilian Ecologist, Anthropologist, activist, photographer and documentary filmmaker, and also a Hostel owner in Ubatuba. I own Ubatuba Ecologic Hostel e Pousada, a sustainable project right next to downtown Ubatuba, in a quiet spot close to the beach and public transportation, perfect for hostelers (website is www.ubatubaecohostelpousada.com). I am passionate about issues of social justice, human rights, the environment, critical social thought, diversity. I am the founder of Pronesis Institute of Audiovisual and Social Change, a non-profit that is working on projects using audiovisual means to challenge problems of communities and environments. We are producing diverse documentary films as well as projects to promote these values. All profits and prizes earned with Institute Pronesis films go to organizations working on the issues represented in our films.
