About Me

🗣️💬 🇪🇦/🇬🇧/🇮🇹/🤏🏻🇲🇫

🇺🇸🇬🇧: I'm a 32-year-old English↔Spanish translator who will be visiting Europe for the first time😱 I like being respectful of and assimilating other places' cultures, so I (recently) started learning some French🇲🇫 and will be visiting some less popular destinations (like WWI battle sites and memorials) and taking regional trains🚂 Thankfully, I also started learning Italian about 5 years ago🇮🇹 I believe I have the two most important traits a visiting couch-surfer should have: I'm respectful and grateful. If you can offer me a roof to sleep under, I'll be more than grateful🙏🏻 I also have a pretty sweet itinerary in mind, so let me know if you'd be interested in joining me on some of my routes! Oh yeah, and this is the first time I go on a trip without having settled on where I'll be staying, so it's fair to say I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing (please don't take my organs🙏🏻 Also, my kidneys are not working at full capacity, so it would'ntbe worth the time).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be visiting Europe (🇪🇸/🇫🇷/🇧🇪/🇨🇭/🇮🇹) from May through July. Money is scarce due to Argentinean currency constantly devaluing🇦🇷📉🔁 so I'm hoping to save some money on lodging. If you can offer me a roof to sleep under, I'll be more than grateful🙏🏻 Also, like I said, when I go to another country, I really enjoy learning about and assimilating its culture, so I would much rather stay with locals and learn a little about their way of life🏡 instead of staying at a hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎧Music I love listening to: Synthwave and City Pop🌆🎷 And so will you!

🎬Favorite movies ever: Batman Begins, Speed Racer, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Your Name.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best decision I ever made: working 4 winter seasons in Vail, COas part of a Work & Travel exchange program.

Best thing that ever happened to me: being an older brother again when I was 20 years old.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about our undisputed #1 drink (non-alcoholic), the Mate. I've been carrying one with me this whole trip and it's led to me having an absurd amount of conversations with strangers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm conversational, provided I know the language (I speak perfect English and Spanish, probably not a lot of French, and I'm going to find out just how good I am with Italian), and I enjoy cooking so I'll be happy to help with that!👨🏻‍🍳🍳

Countries I’ve Visited
