About Me

________

CURRENT MISSION

Whenever I have the chance I do small trips alone or with my family.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Viña del Mar, and lived there till i was 25 years old, since then, and after finishing my degree on social anthropology, I went to live to the north of Chile in the beautiful Atacama Desert, working on tourism, then I traveled through Latin America for a year, visiting several countries. Next I went to Australia on a working holiday visa, staying there for a year working in different jobs and doing a fascinating road trip, later followed a 5 months trip to Southeast Asia, 8 months to New Zealand, and again 5 months in South East Asia (half of it on bicycle).
Afterwards I came back to Chile, but very soon took a bus to Bolivia where I met an old friend who is living in the jungle as an shamanic practitioner, so I re-encountered with anthropology and did a research that I published as a paper. Then i went to live to the north of Chile again, this time to Pica and Pozo Almonte, working for the Municipality, and in the middle I did a trip to India with my ex for six months (that time we did lot of couchsurfing).
Finally, i am back in my birthplace, where during the first semester i did some teaching, and the second I have been dedicated exclusively on my master's degree thesis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

______________________

I joined coachsurfing long time ago, because someone I met
recommended me to do so, but I've never used this profile.
I used CS when I was travelling in India with my ex, using her profile.
Also I have friends who have hosted couchsurfers, so I know pretty much how it works.
I love to meet locals, and experience the places from their perspective.
I can host travellers at my place in Pozo Almonte

Interests

If I had the chance to live travelling, I'd go everywhere, visiting nature and archaeological places alike, meeting local people, trying to learn as much as I can about history and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Me gustan muchos estilos de música, especialmente de América Latina.
Me encanta leer libros, principalmente de antropología, sociología y ciencias políticas. También leo literatura.

I like many styles of music, specially from Latin America.
Love to read books, mostly from anthropology, sociology and political sciences. Also read some literature.
