I have recently (summer 2017) subscribed but grew up in a family that was member of Servas (similar principle) and was very active as a host when living in the Middle East. I'd like to catch up with that concept of meeting other people from different cultures, and see it as an interesting added value to my own trips abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One way or the other, long time ago when the Soviet Union had just collapsed, I must have been among the first and maybe among the only Western Europeans ever in that that era to enter Russia and Ukraine without a visa.
