ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Roel, I'm 29 and I live in Breda. I'm a freelance graphic designer (www.roeloforth.com) (graphic design, apps, photography, filmmaking etc.).
I'm also a electro dj at Skanketron (www.skanketron.com) and from time to time i have to play at gigs with my friends.

I'm a guy who loves to party or have a drink somewhere and I usually go to places where they have lots of electro/indie/rock music. I like to hang out with friends, traveling to new places en meeting new people.

What I really think is important with couchsurfing: No hassle, no obligations and don't feel embarassed. It's best to know with who you're dealing with on beforehand and with whom you can make good appointments. I think couchsurfing is all about that :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a temporarily-flat with my girlfriend and we have enough space for a guest! I can be a good host, a good guide and i can also be a good guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My First couchsurfing experience was in Dublin. I was a guest at Rory Layden's house and met a few other couchsurfers who where also staying over. I had a great time!

兴趣

Hanging out with friends, listening music, jogging, parties, ..but cooking also! preparing and eating is for me a special moment to enjoy and to relax. when i'm preparing a meal i'm always trying to make something special of it.

I'm also interested in art and culture. I really like visiting museums and exhibitions and discovering more about the location where i'm at.

I like to learn new things from other cultures and share experiences. I like to meet new people and experience new things. Usually I go to hotels and hostels, but the thing is: you get to know the city, but you don't really get to know the local people.. so I think it would be great to experience both things at the same time!
