I am an Oregon transplant, but I did it before it was the thing to do. East Bay, CA --> Eugene --> Portland. I am in love with the Pacific Northwest. I spend my free time outside - riding and racing bikes, hiking, camping, etc. Most of all, I love sharing experiences with other people.

I also love animals, a good book, some good bourbon (or well whiskey if I am feeling cheap - whatever), conversations that aren't about the weather, coffee, listening to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" while driving (but I don't own a car) and meeting new people.

I love travelling, though I have not done nearly as much of it as I want. And, like I said I love to meet new people. I believe the best way to experience a new place is not as a tourist, but spending time with people who are local and can show you the places they go and the things they do.
