About Me
I find it awkward to write about myself and who I am but I'll give it a decent shot.
I grew up in a small town in the heart of Ireland surrounded by culture and fresh country air but as soon as I was bold enough to leave I moved to Dublin for education and work.
Personality wise I've been told I'm very easy to get along with and I know myself I'm always up for a laugh in all shapes and forms.
In my opinion one of the most enjoyable things in life is to meet new people especially those from a completely different cultural background because then it's like reading a book about this person's life and experiences.
I try to connect with everyone I meet and also with nature because we all share this planet so we should respect each and every thing that calls it 'home'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had a long history of couchsurfing through my college years. Rent prices soared during my 4 years in college and for 2 of those years I spent either commuting 4 hours a day or crashing on my friend's couches if they were available.
I plan to travel the world starting in Europe and I want to meet as many people as I can along the way. If these people are accompanied by an empty couch then it's like winning the lottery for both parties because I make a mean cup of tea and I don't snore!
Interests
I'm a man of many tastes. There are few things that I don't like but what tops the list are music, football, swimming, environmentalism, learning and discussing the truth and saving the world one day.
I tend to take everything mainstream media dishes out with a giant pinch of salt so a lot of my time is devoted to learning what is actually going on in this world.
If we don't change our behaviour there won't be a world for our kids so hence why I want to save this beautiful planet of ours.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love it all but my favourite artists are; Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Led Zeppellin, RATM, Guns n' Roses, RHCP, Santana, Paolo Nutini, Robbie Williams (don't judge), Elvis, The Beatles and a long list of others. Basically, if it has a nice melody and is not generic then I'm all over it!
Movies: Donnie Darko has been a favourite for nearly a decade and I can't see it being dethroned any time soon. The Zeitgeist trilogy is a must see for every breathing human! A more recent favourite that's been added to the list is The Grand Budapest Hotel.
I enjoy reading books but rarely find myself going in to a bookshop. I've read 3 Game of Thrones books and loved them. The next book I read will not already be a movie or TV show .. I kinda promise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled back in time to 1985 in my friend's DeLorean.
OK .. someone I know did that.
I did convince one of my friends to stop eating meat which I am proud of. I tried to do the same with my family. I now live abroad which sums up how that conversation went.
