CURRENT MISSION

I like most of this world, and some of the people on it. I'd like to see more of the good parts as often as possible.

ABOUT ME

I grew up camping, hiking, fishing, and playing music. At one point I had over 116 different types of tropical plants in my apartment. I am currently a paramedic in Chicago and I enjoy it. I taught a performance workshop with "at-risk" youth in the south side of Chicago and have a hard time expressing how rewarding it is to see them shine. I'm an avid city biker and I like my Thai food so spicy that I sweat and can't hold a conversation. I play upright bass in the Chicago based Blue-Irish-Folk-Grass band, One Of The Girls. I give blood regularly, so there's that.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty easy going. Religiously neutral, politically liberal, and socially social.

I joined CS to meet other travelers passing through Chicago. I have had a blast meeting people from around the world and I'm so happy I joined. I've met amazing people who have opened up their homes to me. I love the community of travelers. I took a cue from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and I always know where my towel is.

Music of all genres. Laughter. Fine Kentucky bourbons. Home cooked meals. Getting out of the city and breathing easy.
