About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embrace the now intensely. As my favorite movie says: Carpe Diem
ABOUT ME
Difficult to answer but I'll try. I think I'm a pretty curious guy, a little bit hungry for adventures and surprises. My friends would probably say that I am calm and obstinate, sometimes distracted, and also a good talker. I may not believe in them. Sometimes I rage with injustices, for example and I'm too lazy even to sleep. On other occasions I am super concentrated and shy to speak. Well, you can not blame friends. We used to speak well of our best friends...
PHILOSOPHY
Find happiness in the major events and everyday life. Contribute to the happiness of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Opening my consciousness to the moment of now and trying to be able enough to appreciate the brightness and peculiarities of the people I meet along this unpredictable and exciting path of the CS meetings.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I´ve seen CS people in restaurants and at home. I hope to strengthen exchanges and learn new sounds, stories and perspectives that have already seen a piece of the world I'll see...
Interests
I am fascinated by the power of stories and characters. I think that a considerable part of me seeks to find a channel to transmit a certain wonder that sometimes happens in art and everyday life. My time is divided with formal employment, study and passion for theater and cinema.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: The films of old times and the new ones. Since Meliès to Beto Brant. Hitchcock and Ozu. Rouch and Spielberg, Lars Von Trier and Kubrick, Bergman and Tarantino. I love different visions and sensibilitys on cinema. Music: Atmospheres of sensations in full force and effect immediately. I really, really love Jackson do Pandeiro e Lenine, U2 and Legião Urbana, Caetano & Gil. I also enjoy Red Hot Chilli Pepers and Coldplay. Books: Long-term mental shift where worlds within worlds fit. Machado de Assis, Clarice Lispector, Herman Hesse, José Saramago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could not talk about supposedly impressive things I've ever done. I prefer, by now, to talk about some interesting things I saw. Always amazes me the gestures of renunciation and giving. Sometimes the most impressive events are curiously the most simple and mundane. Once, on a dark and dangerous neighborhood I joined some people unknown to expect a taxi. We were five. When the car finally showed up I realized they were giving up leaving because they did not want to leave me there alone at three in the morning. The driver refused to take more people than allowed by law. Amazing things are also those who confuse our principles and concepts. This fact may speak of the so-called invisible world. And it came surprisingly to me that I am agnostic. I allow myself to talk about something I really did because there is nothing heroic or self-congratulatory in what I did. We were me and my son, Lucas, then two years of life, I believe, at a birthday party of the son of a friend, in your backyard. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, I decided to put my son in another chair. I dislocated him from the right to left. Fifteen seconds after a coconut fell in the exact place where he was. Never shall I know what really happened. Just know that I spent the rest of the night shivering and thinking. Should I apologize to my guardian angel? If God is real he saved two lives that night ...
