Now that my son is in the Navy, I've downsized my life and sold the house and live in a small apartment, but still entertain many travelers who come to visit. Love meeting open minded people who enjoy sharing their worldly experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having been an unofficial couch surfer with friends and family for the past 40 years, I was so happy to learn about this site from my last house guest, and look forward to meeting even more people from around the world. While I don't have the spare bedrooms anymore, I have a futon in the living room. I still enjoy meeting people for dinner and I do enjoy showing friends around. I can handle a couple of people who don't mind the cramped quarters, for a few nights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always enjoyed traveling all over the United States, Australia and New Zealand spending a night or two with friends catching up on what is happening in their area.

Interests

Growing up in Hawaii has enabled me to do everything to do with the ocean like, scuba diving, body surfing, sailing, water skiing, cliff diving, and the great outdoors, camping, hiking, sky diving, and flying. Now a nice dinner party and a glass of wine with good open minded people leads to great conversations and a better understanding of the world we live in. Now that I've retired, moved to Pensacola, it would be nice to help fellow travelers.
