Hey everyone!

My name is Roger and I grew up in Stuttgart, Germany, as well as in Seoul, South Korea. I finished my high school diploma in 2013 and following that I did a gap year travelling in Australia, New Zealand Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. In Australia I encountered the first time couch surfing, when we were staying over new years eve in Sydney for almost 10 days at Kevins place! In Summer 2018 I finished my studies after studying two years in Germany as well as two years in Dublin, Ireland.

As I love travelling (which I obviously did loads during my studies...) I decided to take a gap-year off again after my studies this summer 2018. So, I started an internship in Zurich at a Swiss Bank which I will complete end of February. I will return to the same bank starting full-time in September. I took half a year off in between on purpose to enjoy life before its get serious again with working... ;-D.

Following the end of my internship I´ll be travelling with one of my best friends from university to Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia! Why to those countries?? Actually I dont know myself.. my friend proposed it and sounded pretty out of the ordinary and kind of cool...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being here on Couchsurfing really is a way for me to get to know people from all over the world, share experiences, benefit from each others know-how as being a local - I mean there is nothing more valuable than having insider knowledge about a city from a local then reading up on it on Google.... lastly I signed up here because I really believe its a great concept which can ultimately lead to having lots of laughs and fun - and thats whats important in life!

Music, Movies, and Books

Really enjoying all kind of music, when travelling I love to get to know some local music, then when going out I prefer some deep house and electro music. Regarding movies, wow, I watched basically all good ones on Netflix (honestly I think they dont have alot..), similar with series.
