Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Had participated with Hospitalityclub.org and used it quite heavily in South America and had European and SA guests stay with me when I was home.
I like having interesting travelers, please no tourists looking for a free bed, to share experiences with and to seek info on my next travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to mention!!! But most current I did the El Camino De Compostella from Porto, Portugal to Santiago de Compostella, Spain in Oct - Nov of 2019. Very nice !!!
While in the Air Force I flew in, and lived in, many countries around the world and have many more places to go and people to meet!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Worked with homeless Vets in Tampa as a Mental Health Counselor for my Internship and Practicum associated with my Masters course work. Worked with orphanage's in various countries I have lived in. Mainly South Korea and Philippines . Taught English in Tampa on a volunteer basis 2006-2007 with students from Spain, Turkey and China. Continuing volunteer work with Red Cross, VA, Lab Rescue and currently do Meals on Wheels.
