Overview
About Me
I'm inquisitive, quiet, yet always in search of good conversation, I'm fond of creatives and creativity in all its forms, I love learning about other ways of life through travel and study, I prefer a good book under a tree over the latest episode of what is trending on the television. Food, drink, travel, friendships.
I was born to Cuban parents on American soil, spent my youth in South America, studied Fine Arts in Spain, volunteered in El Salvador, ended up in Australia as a chef and recently spent the last two years navigating the art scene of Bali, Indonesia as an abstract painter.
PHILOSOPHY
Always defend the right to march to the beat of your own drum, even if it means going at it alone, however, life is indeed too short to take it so seriously and experience it alone, so use the buddy system!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently arrived in France after two years of living in Bali, Indonesia. My adventure will continue on to England where I am looking to explore every hidden pocket and lane way of London and it's surroundings. I'm keen to meet new people, exchange stories and life experiences. At the end of my journey around England I hope to find my own wonderful corner of the area to begin my own English ladventure and host fellow couchsurfers in the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts
In a previous life I carved out a 10 year career as a professional chef in Australia at some of Melbourne's top restaurants. While now I am self employed as a painter, cooking still remains one of my most sacred passions. If you love to eat good food, I can cook! Experience for experience exchange is my preference for travel. I'm keen to exchange my cooking and good house guest manners for stories and adventure!
