Overview
About Me
I am a Maths and Statistics student at the University of Warwick in the U.K. I was born and brought up in the lovely city of Pune, India and have been splitting my time between the U.K. and India for over three years now. I travel any chance I get even if it's just to a nearby city or a whole different continent. I love exploring old cities that have a lot of history hidden behind all the hustle and bustle of modern everyday life. I enjoy museums and art galleries as well as hikes. I have a dog named Simba who is my furry little baby and accompanies me on all my hikes in the hills surrounding Pune.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of a community where people from around the world can share their experiences and help each other out . Especially with the current situation in the world, this kind of cultural exchange might help build bridges instead of walls and bring us closer.
Interests
Hikes, walking around the cities exploring their history, museums, art galleries and local food.
Music, Movies, and Books
Jeffrey archer is my favourite author of all time. Other than that I really enjoy historical fiction. As for movies anything by Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen, Alfred Hitchcock, Francis Ford Coppola and more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skinny dipped in the Mediterranean at 4 am drunk out of my mind on raki!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you a good legit Indian meal and help you learn a language if you're interested! I speak two Indian languages as well as English fluently. I also learned German and Turkish for a bit but I'm not too good at those. I play the guitar so I could teach you a few easy chords. Other than that I'm a very outgoing person who loves telling stories so you won't be bored, I promise! :)
If you're coming to Pune I can show you around and take you to all the best places in the city that only us locals know about so you get the most authentic experience of this beautiful city. I'm familiar with Bombay and travel there all the time as well so that's on the cards.
