Hello , I am Rohit, and I am a researcher at the South Asian Institute, Harvard University. Currently, I also run a not-for-profit called Awaaz Leadership Labs which works on legal aid, climate justice and disability rights. You can also find me teaching law students in various setups, universities, workshops and online programmes.

I live in Noida, about 15 Km from New Delhi city centre, well connected by public transport, including Cab, Metro and Bus.

I am someone who loves travelling and exploring different places, meeting people from different cultures and countries. I have been to Greece, United States, United Kingdom, Vietnam. Next I am planning Poland, Austria and Czech Republic.

I can also offer good Indian homemade cuisine. I also love poetry, theatres and movies . I can discuss for culture and public work I have done in India for hours.

I am a human rights lawyer who has been working on ground in India. I am also an artist who writes and hold deep insights and socio-political knowledge of India. I am always curious to learn from people from different cultures, different lived experiences and different outlooks towards the world.

More than the saving money, for me your travel should not be reduced down to touristy places but rather on how localities see the city, its people, its places and most importantly its soul. I would like to learn from cultural nuances of every city I visit.

A tourist can rarely see those lenses being just in hotels.

A. I am running my own not-for-profit and not-for-loss company in India, which has over 80 team members, including full-time, part-time, and volunteers, who are currently serving a community of over 10,000 future lawyers in India. The goal of both these organisations is to build a kind and empathetic legal community which truly stands for/with citizens and truly makes these law students upskilled and better lawyers.

B. I am a practitioner of social presence theatre, which acknowledges that besides your mind, your body has its own knowledge and would love to share some experiences.

C. I am an activist who thinks that every fight for a right requires community mobilisation and in the world of AI and big tech, I am someone who still believes in community solidarity and humane connection.

I can teach you a little I have learnt about how to teach better, the socio-cultural history of India, and the politics of India over the last few centuries.

I can talk about laws, society, morality, just and unjust practices, third world's scholar's perspective on how I see international order. I would love to learn anything about the country which is not visible on the internet to a non-resident. I would like to learn about the cultural, social, and political context of the country.

But even if that is too boring for someone, I am also a movie fan and meme culture, and just talking about how your life journey has been, as I believe it shows and teaches us a lot. I also know a little bit about Hinduism as I knew Sanskrit while growing up and have been a believer, agnostic and then again spiritually believer.
