About Me
Hi, I’m Rohith! I work full-time as a Data Engineer, but outside the screen and code, I love getting out and exploring. Whether it’s wandering through new neighborhoods, hunting for great local cafes, or soaking in the culture of a city—I’m always up for an adventure. Cooking is another big part of my life—I enjoy experimenting with different cuisines and sharing meals and stories with new people. I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about how people live and think in different parts of the world. Couchsurfing, for me, is more than just a place to crash—it’s a way to connect, learn, and experience a city like a local.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing mainly to meet new people, build meaningful connections, and share good vibes. I love the idea of experiencing a city through the eyes of locals rather than just ticking off tourist spots. For me, it’s about the conversations, the laughs, the shared meals, and the memories that come from spontaneous human connections. Whether it’s making a new friend or just learning something new from someone’s story, I’m here for the people and the experiences that stay with you long after the trip ends.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 Music – I enjoy a mix of genres depending on the mood. Chill acoustic, indie, classic rock, a bit of electronic, and sometimes some Indian fusion music. Always open to discovering new sounds from different cultures.
🎬 Movies – Big fan of films that make you think or feel—anything from Christopher Nolan’s mind-benders to feel-good travel films like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Also love the occasional thriller or documentary.
📚 Books – I’m not a heavy reader, but I enjoy books that offer perspective—especially around personal growth, tech, or storytelling. A few I’ve liked: The Alchemist, Sapiens, and Atomic Habits.
