ABOUT ME

I am a passionate Irishman who loves to experience different cultures, experiences and enjoys interacting with all people. I am above all easy to please and demand and expect little from meeting and beholding people. Above all, I believe, despite my Gaelic heritage, that we are all brothers and sisters, wherever we come from and although it's perhaps a cliché, love can conquer all.

An artistic, deep, sensitive, and well traveled person, I have a ton of interests and pastimes as broad as the horizon. Oh and I'm vegetarian; this philosophy and way is very important to me. But I don't impose it on anyone; I realise most of the world is not, so that's ok.

A writer particularly of old poetry etc which I recite in a bardic style. I'm also a perennial student - to quote Oscar Wilde - and love to learn and amass information and wisdom daily.

I also have a strong social consciousness so have a tendency to do voluntary work, particularly with the homeless from time to time.

I'm still new to couchsurfers and relatively recent. However, I intend to immerse myself and get involved in many things and pursuits.

Only recently registered. I used to be on hospitality club.

Walked the roads and valleys of Languedoc in the south west of France a vast amount of times - enough to fit a multitude of lifetimes!

Particularly people who are searching for life's meaning or seeking answers to things. But most of all people who are open to the fact that through sharing and interacting, there is a lot to be learned on this life path.
