ABOUT ME

I’m an Electric engineer student, with a special interest in bio-med and brain science.
when not geeking out, I enjoy people - kicking back with old friends or meeting new interesting ones.
you can say my main hobby is just chatting - talking about anything like politics, music, religion, philosophy, science but mostly I like to understand what makes other people tick - what drives them and so forth.

Interests

outgoing geek is the dissonance that captures it best.
my interests are spread from the very geeky (brain science, technology, sci-fi etc.) through the somewhat spiritual (asking the "big questions" of why we are) to the plain fun (electronic music and especially outdoor raves , camping and trekking in nature, or just lazying a day at the beach - preferably in north-east brazil with a nice capiriniha and acai :))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

moment when I felt awestruck? I can say I see beauty in many "little" ordinary moments when "the stars align” and you just feel blessed to be alive but if you insist on specific events:
once in a trek near Ushuaia me and a friend lost our way and had to swing the navigation - we ended up going to a peak not anywhere near the original course of the trek - I remember the moment of going over the peak and the view of the entire reserve opening up suddenly, when you finally see the original trails spanning beneath you - embodying the "road least traveled" essence.
I remember lazying on a longboard in Praya du pipa, with dolphins swimming around me.
I remember the first Rave I went to, dancing for 8 hours straight with hardly a drop of alcohol or any substance other than pure energy for that matter to keep me going.
I remember spending an almost sleepless night staring at a beautiful girl sleeping next to me (and my surprise to discover that though technically sleep deprived I woke up revived like I haven’t been for weeks)
