CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life and give back at the same time
ABOUT ME
Just turned 30 and living in London for the last four years. Before that was out in Prague for a few years teaching English, drinking beer, getting some experience in the NGO sector and just generally hanging out. I spend as much of my time outdoors as possible, which isnt always that easy when you live in London - particularly climbing and bouldering, and hiking in the UK and overseas. Other than that, I pass my time hanging out with friends, cycling, trampolining, fancy dress, travelling and attempting new languages. I love London and all it has to offer. Happy to show people around my new (ish) home anytime....
PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first got involved in Couchsurfing after attending a few meet ups in Prague and London - think its an excellent initiative. Have used Couchsurfing on a number of trips- out in Ireland and most recently in Jordan, where I met some amazing people. Although I dont have space to host at the moment, I hope I will have the opportunity to do so in the future.
Interests
Music, film, outdoor pursuits of any kind - mountain-biking/commuting into central london/critical mass, rockclimbing, hiking, generally being outdoors. Also into politics and current affairs, partly due to working in the NGO sector, but also just through personal interest. I like to sit and discuss most subjects under under the sun. Beer is always good fun and I love to get out and be active both in UK and abroad....

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: I studied film at university so I have quite a broadranging taste in movies - anything from Lukas Moodysson, mike leigh, human rights documentaries, kung-fu movies and I have a strange interest in giant animal movies.
Favourite books: Leviathon (Paul Auster), The Cairo Trilogy and Sour Sweet (Timothy Mo).
Music: World music, old funk and soul, ska, rock and roll.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Jordan in 2010 and travelled down to Petra on my own to check it out. The feeling of sitting watching the sunset over the mountains was truly amazing.
