About Me
Hello hello,
My name is Roisin, pronounced ro - sheen, I'm 27 and I'm Irish! Like the majority of people on here, I love to travel and meeting new people is the best part of that travelling experience. I'm currently 5 months into my travels. I worked flat out on a farm in Australia for 6 months to then go off and travel for 6 months. I've been to Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Phillipines and just left Morocco there to go to Vietnam (why you ask did I go from one side of the world to the other just to go back again - my mam is retiring and I wanted to take her on holidays.. she didn't want to travel very far .. )
So as I said I was supposed to head to Vietnam buuut being the eejit that I am, I didn't look up the visa requirements for Vietnam.. In my defence, when I visited Vietnam 6 years ago, I was able to get a visa on arrival sooo I just presumed it was going to be the same. I was wrong .. oh so very wrong. No worries though, one door closes and another opens. Now I'm in Amsterdam, sitting at a nice lil Cafe instead of sitting on a plane for hours on end. Gotta look at the bright side 🌞
I love listening to travel stories and experiences, tell me all !!
I lived in Australia for 3 years, Berlin for a year and I'm heading back to Australia next month to work again. I just did my Yoga Teacher training in Goa in November and completed my first 10 day Vipassana Meditation course the end of January, so If you're up for a bit of Yoga, happy days !
Trying these days to be more present in life and just go with the flow. Shit happens that you can't control, the only thing you can control is the way you react to it ✨️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the most amazing way to connect with like minded people who love traveling and meeting new souls. I love learning about new places to visit. One day I'll be doing the same and opening my home (wherever that may be ) to other couchsurfers.
