Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go lots of places, do many things and meet interesting people along the way.
ABOUT ME
Some of my favourite things in life are my family, travelling, the Cromarty Bakery at night and meeting new people. I also like great conversation, food, music, art, gardens...
I am a friendly, happy person. I am very laidback and happy to go with the flow or just wing it. I am also open to new experiences and challenges. I don't much like writing 'All about you' things.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, laugh, love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have just joined after my brother and his pal had some really good experiences couchsurfing in Europe. As neither of us has an actual place of residence at the moment, our mum has put up her house as a stop.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Osaka, Japan. Both really positive and encouraging.
Interests
Music of all types. I love festivals in summer. Dent Festival in Yorkshire two years ago was great-TINY! Reading is another one of my pleasures, especially accompanied by some jammies and a good cup of tea or six. I like when people give me book recomendations too. Cooking-at home with friends and family around-and learning new recipes. Many more...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books, some recent ones I've really enjoyed are The Colour Purple, Skinny Dip and Peace Like a River. I went to a Leonard Cohen concert in Las Vegas last year which was amazing. My dad is a musician so I grew up listening to a wide variety of music and I still do now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Subway hike In Zion National Park, Utah. Challenging but totally worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make traditional Scottish Shortbread-something I did about 20 times during my stay in America. I also learned how to make Gyoza-Japanese pot stickers-from a Japanese friend. I know quite alot about my own country, Scotland, some of which I learned whilst doing projects with students at the school in LA. I'd love to learn how to arrange flowers. Or anything to do with cooking, as long as it's not too stressful.
