We're a young couple living in Lyon, France. It's a wonderful city with delicious food, beautiful parks, amazing events throughout the year and we honestly think it's the best city in France!
I, Rojo, have lived here for 5 years now. But before that, I spent 9 years in Antananarivo, Madagascar and then 9 other years in Libreville, Gabon. Patrick has always lived here and has visited Spain and the West Indies.
You got it: the world is our home and we are always excited to discover new places and new cultures!
Our friends say we are open-minded, obliging and (most of the time) funny people who make cheesy jokes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Graduating in September, Patrick and I don't want to embark on our professional lives without having traveled to the world's end. This is our way to mark the occasion and start a new chapter. We then decided that we are going to visit Singapore and Japan from September!
We want to make the most of our trip and completely immerse ourselves in the local culture. We would love to know more about the language, the food, the habits and the traditions so we think the best way to do that is by joining this bubbly community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love cooking and we would be more than happy to share traditional recipes from France (eg raclette, gratin dauphinois), Madagascar (eg mokary, voanjobory) or Martinique (eg black pudding with apples, accras)!
We can of course teach you some words and expressions in French and in Malagasy and we can also show you how to play the guitar.
There are so many things we can share but we just need to know more about each others :)
