CURRENT MISSION

I'm a born &bred Sydney gal who moved to Canberra for a change& to study at Uni. I've moved back now& i'm bright eyed&bushy tailed about embarking on a travel adventure at the end of the yr.I want to meet peeps on their adventures& provide a place2 sleep

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going character, always up for meeting new people and getting the most out of life. I'm not the type to dwell at home in front of the TV- BORING! (unless ofcourse, severely hung over hehe)

I appreciate good humour- i have four brothers so one has to learn to dish it back!

I love the beach, the theatre, art, sport,live bands, DJs, cruisey stuff, jazz, funky house you name it!

I'm also very much into food- good food brings a smile to my face! Mmm Mmmm! My favourite cuisine at the moment would have to be fresh Lebanese food, not the kind you might find at a seedy kebab stand in the early hours of the morning. (Which i'm sure most of us are familiar with!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am planning to go O/S this year around May/June and would like to couch surf myself. I would like to meet some new people, show them around and suggets places to go and hopefully find myself a few couches to sleep on when i travel later this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I moved out of home at the age of 17 and lived interstate. I can remember spending many a night on the floor of a friend's place or a friend of a friend, on cushions, at the foot of a bed..where ever. Now that i've got my own place with my brother i'd like to be able to offer the same to those in need. It saves cash and it's a great way to meet people you might not normally get to meet in what can become a sheltered life!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done lots of hiking around Australia, in the Northern Territory, down the South Coast, in QLD and Victoria.I've been to New York and Tokyo, The Whitsundays, New Zealand (South Island), Tasmania (which we may as well classify as another country)and i've just come back from Noumea "Bonne Annu!!!"

An amazing thing for my fellow snow buddies would have been my last stack. It was also, however,quite an amazing feeling for me as i focused my sight on the jump in the distance, set off with fierce determination and resisted all urges to slow down on my approach. I'll never forget the wind against my face as i became airborne, arms flailing about to balance myself.. all but to land and tumble in a powdered mess which left passers by wondering if i was still alive and my friends in stitches.
