ABOUT ME

I am Rolando. I grew up in Miami, Florida. My parents are Cuban. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I love to dance and party. Any music will get me moving, although salsa/merengue have a very natural rhythm for me. I wake up early to start my day (not by choice). I am 24 and studied International Relations in college.

Like any young person, I am still trying to find out who I am. Traveling, meeting new people, and discussing opposing viewpoints helps me find myself little by little.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short. Eat, laugh, dance, love.

I found out about CS from a friend. He recommended it after he found out that I am about to begin an (unexpected) adventure in Europe alone.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen hundreds of dolphins swim surrounding my ship. I've seen the most amazing view of the Pacific Ocean from a welcoming family's house in Valparaiso. I've sipped Starbucks with a student from Iran that in another time may have been my best friend. I've snorkeled in the reefs off Belize. I have been fortunate to meet so many incredible people that those memories alone bring a smile to my face.
