I'm Romain, from France. I'm currently finishing a boring internship for the end of my engineering studies. But soon free for new great traveling experiences !! 😊🤩

I'm a very discrete person but I really like to share good time with new people, over a drink or a meal, hanging out, speaking about unlimited subjects... I'm very open minded and always looking for learning from others.

I love to travel and discover secret and picturesque places. I feel very good in nature and in the mountains but I also like a lot visiting cities. I'm very interested in South America's culture.

I climb a lot in my everyday life : bouldering, rock climbing, inside and outside... I really live this sport as a way of living and I would be very happy to share it with you. I also like hiking, cycling, running, swimming etc...

Music is also part of my life. I played the piano some years ago and I played the trumpet too. Now I don't find enough time to play but always listening some melodies from all over the world 🎶

I feel very interested in ecology, sobriety, climat studies, anthropology and collapsology. I'm always trying to find and understand other ways of living, more respectful of the environment and ecosystems, more socialy liveable and fairer. That could be a great subject to share with you 😉

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Obviously CS is a cheaper way of traveling but I realised that it's always better to share with people. In some trips where I paid a guestroom or something like this, I felt it was better than basic hotels were you don't share with other cultures. It's like travelling only to see some monuments and you stay in a place not so different than your home, you don't really learn from your travel. But a real trip is when you experience it as if you were a local person. And what's better for this than CS ?
