Hi all,

I'm Romain, from France. I'm 23 and recently graduated from a business school. I made an academic exchange in Mexico last year and that was for me the first I was travelling long distance. I really enjoyed discovering this country and the Latin American culture. I enjoyed it so much that I kept thinking about going back to Latin American as soon as possible. So here I am, my plane tickets are booked and I'm coming to Bolivia, Peru and Chile in May 2016 !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just registered on couchsurfing.com because one of my friend made me discover this new way of travelling in Mexico. Our host was really nice and we learnt a lot from her. As I'm planning to travel alone in South America in May 2016, I thought it was a good opportunity to couchsurf so that I can meet locals and share their culture instead of going from tours to tours where you only meet other tourists.

Interests

I love travelling and discover places that are part of the locals' routine, far from touristic zones. I like to share my experiences, know about local cultures, traditions. As a French, I love cooking, eating and drinking wine ;)
I party as much as I can and spend a lot of time with my friends to share good moments wherever they are (even in Chile where I'm going to meet one of them).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very curious so I don't really have a favorite song, movie or book. I like to discover so I don't stick to one style of music or litterature.
I more often listen to pop and electro music but I'm open to everything. I don't read that much but I love going to the cinema and like films that talk about society phenomenon and problems (racism, politics, sexuality...)

Recipes, travel experiences, nights out, drinks and restaurants. Enjoy as best as we can the moments we have together only if my host wants it. I'm really easy going and won't abuse of my host's time if he has other plans.
