Well, Hello there!
My name is Romain, I am a french men from the Alps of France mix with some Spanish roots from my mother side. But I've lived in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and Spain. So I usually say that I am from Europe.
I live in Switzerland with my husband but I consider Barcelona as my home. This city is very special to me (especially Antoni Gaudí) and I still go regularly there.

I like Art, creativity, music, sharing good talk, good energy, life stories, sport and nature!
I like to share ideas that make this world a better place. Sometime just hearing someone else stories can bring you a new point of view about yourself :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used Couchsurfing in years, but I’ve met amazing and unique people through the platform. 🌟
When you travel, you live and share more adventure. Sometime it gives you the chance to brighten someone else's day! And sometime you make great new friends!
I used to ask for couch most of the time, but now that I got my own place, I would like to give back my support to others. “What goes around comes back around” :)

That said, there are two things I want to put there:
1.CS isn't a hotel, it's an opportunity to share your world, culture and stories with an other person. Keep this in mind if you ask me to host you.

2.CS is NOT a dating or hook up platform❌.
I am a dedicate husband (yes it still exists) and if sex is what you searching for, then don’t even bother talking to me.
In my opinions these apps for sex, kills the love on the planets. It constantly overwhelms the users with choices. It treat people like products to use instead of human beings. The result brings inevitably a feeling of anxiety, loneliness, irresponsibility and detachment between people’s. I do not wish this for the world. And it doesn't belong at all on CS.
I understand that there plenty different point of view on that subject. Mine is just one of them. And I am stubborn on that subject. I just don’t agree with the direction society going and I think we should bring back romanticism, love, care, respect and trust towards others. Because at the end of all, it's there where it feels warms inside.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a very important part of my life!
I listen a lot of different music, but of course I have a small collection of sacred songs :)

If I had to name some of my favorite music bands they would be: Alt-J, Arcade Fire, Bear's Den, Bloc Party, Christophe Maé, Fhin, Fleet Foxes, Foals, Half Moon Run, Gorillaz, Isaac Delusion, The Killers, Manau, Matthew & The Atlas, U2, Noir Désire, Odesza, Parra For Cuva, London Grammar, System of a Down, Future Islands, Röyksopp, Saint Jude and Nick Mulvey.

And I constantly look for new amazing songs and artists

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've front Flip a gab of 18feet long house one day
I also jumped a 24m height cliffs into the sea. Was very mental, I looked at that jump for years long and finally conquered that fear one day!

I did a lot of other stuffs but for me they were rather normal. Yet my friends told me they were crazy xD

Teach, Learn, Share

If you’re into photography and want to understand better your camera (it can be confusing at times, I know), I’d be happy to help! I can also teach few simple Parkour moves, and I really like to share my knowledge about plants and trees too.
I love cycling , climbing , running hehe I got a lot of energy and consider myself very courageous in tying news things. Especially when I am scared of them.

I like challenges, in every part of life. Because the ones you have managed to overcome...this feeling that comes after the storm, that's the meaning of grows in life for me.

One day I fell on a quote that matched pretty much my thinking of my attitude towards life:
"Learn to: have fun without alcool, talk without phone, fly without drugs, smile not only on photo, love without conditions"
