Ries is 59 years old and Romaine is 55 years old. I ( Romaine) am a caring person, mostly calm. Ries is always busy with all kinds of things, but he also likes to take care of people and give them a great time while staying with us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our eldest daughter Rianne asked us to participate as CS-er. Our intention is to host (married) couples with ( should be this the case) there children. Good friends who are traveling together are also welcome and we can lodge horses ( max. 2) if guests want to bring them while staying with us.

Interests

We both like to read and listen to music, also to watch movies. We also like horses and to ride them. I( Romaine)am the groome for my youngest dauhters horses on dressage competitions. We love our dauhters and 2 grandsons and always look forward to see them. We are married for 32 years with each other. We have a small country cottage with a fence for our horses and a big garden behind the house. The maintain of the house/garden and the maintaince of the horses takes a lot of time. We also like to go traveling with our small camper to the south of France during holidays in the summer.
Romaine works as a community nurse for 3 days per week.Ries works as a environmental specialist on a Government, but he stops working in 2013.
