About Me

I can't wait to get up, because there's a song I'm excited to learn on guitar.
I'll play till the evening.
At night I go out meet friends or play football.

I removed many time-consuming things from my life like Facebook.
Instead I try to be in the present moment.

I loved travelling the USA and English-speaking countries in general, because people are very friendly and their mentality suits me better.
That's why I love being among people from different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to be in an international environment and share the valuable lessons I learned so far.
If I were travelling, I would also be amazed if someone offered me his apartment to stay in.

Interests

If there's one thing I want to be really good at, it's playing the guitar.
I try to play it every single minute when I'm at home.

I play football 3 times a week. On my big trip around the world, football was the only thing I really missed.
I am also a football referee. It's great to develop your personality and it's such a pleasure to experience gratitude when you don't expect.

Hiking is another thing I enjoy. I'm easily amazed by nature. We have beautiful sunsets, a mountained landscape and beautiful Danube valley.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Coldplay concert in Munich was the best experience of my entire life.
Ed Sheeran and Billy Talent are also among my favorites.
Otherwise I just try to discover new playlists on Spotify. "Weekend Beats" really got me.

If there's a song I like, I look for someone who did an acoustic cover on Youtube and I try to copy this cover.
Just like "The Island", which is actually Drum and Bass. Here it is:

I'm into non-fiction books that teach me how to live life better.
There are several books that amazed me. That make you sound really wise when you quote from them.
"The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss was really influental and I've listened to 100 episodes of his podcast.
The episodes with Naval Ravikant are the best ones, he is just such a wise person.
"A man's search for meaning" by Viktor Frankl about his time in concentration camps and the theory of logotherapy is an amazing book.

I like movies, but I have too much energy to just sit on my couch and watch.
Every time I'm hungover I watch a movie.
My favorite so far: Groundhog Day
