My name is Romane. I'm 24 years old. I'm french from Paris.
I've lived most of my life in this city though I have traveled a lot.
I also stayed 7 months in New Zealand and since last year I'm based in the Netherlands (originally came to study my master).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always felt lucky that my parents were taking us (me and my sis) to visit different cities/countries in the world.
Whether it's was a family trip or just by myself, I always loved the feeling to discover new places, new people and of course new cultures.
I love meetings especially when it come to exchange and to share about each other life's experience, tastes or funny stories :D.
I have joined couchsurfing because in my opinion it is very interesting to meet hosts from whom you can get very useful and nice tips that will enhance your stay and travel experience. And of course with whom you might have really nice chats and contact.

Interests

Of course traveling that offer you so much memorable moments and from which you can learn so much things from others and from yourself (own capacities, own limits,...).
I love food, love to eat, like to watch some culinary shows haha. My favorite cuisines: French, Italian, Vietnamese and Lebanese.
I'm always in for a drink out as it's very common in my country to have a chat while drinking in cafés, brasseries,bars,...
I like languages though I am only fluent in French and English (can understand Spanish). I wish I could speak way more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music from the us rap/r'n'b, rock 'n roll, latin, caribbean music to old classical music.
Recently I also discovered some good hip-hop Dutch artists.

My favorite band : Mando Diao ( a Swedish rock one).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole experienced in New Zealand: horse trek, hitchhike, climbing fabulous mountains (I could have died on), crawling in natural and wet caves..
