Hi everybody!

I'm Romane, you'll probably have difficulties pronouncing my name but that doesn't matter. I am French and yes, I like cheese. But that's not the only thing I like!

I find it difficult to describe myself objectively, but I'm gonna try: I think I'm an open-minded person - that's why I love travelling, I definitely love to meet new people from different places, I'm interested in humans and languages, how relationships work and how we interact with others. I think a lot and I love talking, but I also need quiet and relaxing times. I love to go out and dance on good music (disco, funk, groove, soul, jazz, electro, techno, trance) - I find enjoyment and satisfaction in doing crazy and unexpected things sometimes (probably my childish side) but I also love drinking tea and have serious conversations like adults do. I suppose I'm not only "fun" or "serious" but a mix of some madness and reason, emotions and rationality - like we all are.

I am really interested in languages - I have an English degree and am currently doing a Master to teach French as a foreign language (e.g. to people that don't speak French).
I spent a year in Galway as an Erasmus student, probably one of the best experiences I had in my life, but I'm gonna stop there to keep some suspense! I have never traveled outside Europe though but I still have time.

I also love outdoor and manual activities, and working with children (I do that as a Summer job) - they make me laugh, inspire and fascinate me in a way that helps me understand the world.

I could keep on talking about what I like, but that wouldn't make sense to say too much. As a conclusion I want to say that whoever you are and wherever you are from, I can't wait to meet you and share some life with you!

I'm on CS because I think it's a genius idea to gather people, travel and mix cultures without having to spend all your savings. It's also great to discover a city through locals and do things you wouldn't necessarily do on your own. I love to see where and how people live, their home, their habits - share a little bit of their privacy to break frontiers.
