Présentation
À propos de moi
Literary scholar, journalist, podcaster.
It's always a challenge for me to describe myself in only a few lines. In my life, I have always been led by curiosity and passion for trying new things, especially in language learning and reading. Being a second year university student, I started learning Norwegian and achieved a pretty good level (I think now it's dropped, but I'm doing my best to get into shape before finally visiting Norway). I was also super invested into volunteering and organizing public events from my NGOs, though most of the time I'm pretty shy introverted person. I would describe myself as an ambitious young person.
In my spare time, I read books, watch Netflix or YouTube, grab my headphones and go for a walk. I enjoy walking in the park while listening to some good music (as a picky person, I can listen to the same all-time favorites without getting bored).
Nowadays, I'm working on my podcast (along with my colleague) about the famous Ukrainian artists abroad, and enjoying the vibe of working in a local radio studio :) have always dreamt of such an opportunity.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
When I was a child, I didn't have an opportunity to travel abroad, so books became my substitute for gaining new experiences and exploring the world. Nowadays, being an adult, I'm living my best life, partially by visiting places I have only read about in books. And it's amazing!

I believe Couchsurfing is a good way to fill any journey with joy and good memories. People who are using this website either to host or find a place to stay are usually great, open-minded people with lots of things to offer. I enjoy long walks and late night talks, all the good emotions I get from interaction with people of different cultures and backgrounds. And I am grateful to all the people I got to know though Couchsurfing so far, the moments we spent together will always warm my heart and live in my mind rent-free forever.
***
Although I haven't used Couchserfing much lately, I value my experience here and am open to getting the most out of my journeys, as well as providing other people with my company and guidance in Lviv, Ukraine.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My taste in music has been changing throughout the years. Nowadays, I'm enjoying everything, from pop to glam rock, post-hardcore, alternative and indie tracks.
Among movies, I would emphasize on Ingmar Bergman, Pedro Almodovar and Xavier Dolan's movies. I also love Studio Ghibli's masterpieces, especially 'Howls' Moving Castle', 'Spirited Away' and 'The Wind Rises'.
Books. I enjoy reading memoirs and fiction novels. 'Just Kids' by Patti Smith, 'Me, Elton John' by Elton John, and lots of fiction classics.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
There are at least three things I'd like to share.
- I got to study at universities I chose myself in the field of Humanities, and I managed to be on scholarships during all those years.
- I always try to find a way to get what I want, and I truly love achieving goals I set myself, though I don't criticize myself if something goes the other way I planned (especially now, in wartime). Even when I get some small items from my bucket list, I am happy, because it shows I have an influence on my life.
Furthermore, I'm proud I got to attend a concert of my favorite band abroad and all alone (a friend of mine who intended to go with me refused on a short notice). It was my first time abroad, and I did well :)
There are a lot of things that make me proud of myself, it's difficult to pick one. I hope other people feel the same, because it's good to feel amazing things happen to you all the time.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I have a passion for working with children and teens, and also have a lot of experience in this sector of work as a private tutor of English/Ukrainian. Rumor has it, I have the superpower of explaining complicated things in simple words and making my lessons interactive and fun. (My super talented young learners usually spoil me with small handmade gifts that warm my heart and make me believe I do something important for them). So if you're willing to learn Ukrainian or English, I could give you a lessor or two.
A few years ago, I discovered journalism and podcasting, they have literally stolen my heart. I did research and had a lot of practice in conducting interviews and recording my own podcasts. So if you want to know what it's like to be a gentle and sympathetic interviewer, I could gladly share my experience.
I also consider myself a patriotic Ukrainian, so if there's anything you would like to know about Ukraine, its history and culture, here I am :)
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
Ohhh, I could cook traditional Ukrainian meals (if you're a foodie, of course), bring some souvenirs or teach you some Ukrainian phrases.
