I like to think of myself as an opinionated (but not pushy) person who enjoys the company of people who think deeply about issues. I try to take my work seriously but not myself. I always want to keep learning and improving myself and never stagnate.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in having principals and living by them. Everybody's got to have a code. As long as you stick to yours I can respect you even if I disagree with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best trips I've taken were the ones where I stayed at someone's place and could rely on their local knowledge of the place I was visiting. Likewise I've always enjoyed hosting friends and others and showing them around my town.

My favorite movie genres are film noirs, French heist films, and anything by the Coen Brothers. My preferred music is typically jazz and blues, with some Cuban, bluegrass, and West African (afrobeat, highlife, makossa) sprinkled in.
