One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2 friends and I were planning to go to Dublin for a weekend. At the airport we found out that all the flights to Dublin were cancelled due to the bad weather (it was December and it was snowing in Nothern Europe).
We had the choice between getting our money back + €150 compensation, or we could choose any other flight. A few hours later we were on a plane, heading to Rome for a week, our bags filled with winter clothes, very little money in our pockets, no hotel booked.
It ended up being the best trip of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook an Afghan dish (I'm originally from Afghanistan). I can show you Amsterdam etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a 2persons bed + 1 extra mattress. So I can host 2 people max(one in the bed, one on mattress on the ground(not very comfortable, but doable)).
I have a beamer/projector in my room (awesome for watching Netfix)
I have my own bathroom and I share my kitchen and living room with some other students.
I live in the biggest student campus of the Netherlands. It's like a small village with 3,500 students and only 22min away from the center with the metro and also connected to other popular places in Amsterdam (Leidseplein, Museumplein)
Countries I’ve Visited
Afghanistan, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates
