ABOUT ME

I'm a student doing a master at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. I am easy-going, in for everything and a big adventure girl. For couchsurfing I am not very experienced, I once made this account when I wanted to interrail through Europe and actually ended up staying mostly in hostels, In Iceland I used it mainly for meet ups which resulted in great evenings and even better stories. So I am slowly reviving this account again and enriching my couchsurfing experience. Especially because during my travels I noticed that it is way nicer to see the country or city through the eyes of the people who live there and know all the good places.

PHILOSOPHY

Just go with it and follow your heart but always bring your brain along.

Interests

Playing rugby & basketball, go out with friends, read and enjoy the little things, having conversations that inspire or surprise and discovering new things. Active in a local political party, busy with organizing events to integrate different social classes. Although sometimes I just like sitting in the sun with a cold beer and looking at all the people that pass by.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pirate Radio & Taking Woodstock. Music taste is mostly golden oldies. Love to read, especially books that inspire and create new insights into people and their world. If only you could know this before hand :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

European Championship, travelling on my own through South Africa, Europe, Indonesia and Iceland. I once moved the entire crowd at a huge podia on a festival to turn instantly their back to the DJ.
