Hello beautiful people,

my name is Romy and I come from a small town in the Czech republic.
In 2010 I moved to the most beautiful city in the world - Prague :) to study International Relations.
I have always loved outdoors, sports and adventures and when I was little my parents took me on many amazing trips around Europe.
I guess that's how my passion for traveling started.:)

Since 2012 I volunteered in India and East Africa, I backpacked through Mexico, I worked and studied in the USA, I traveled through Jamaica, I roadtripped in New Zealand, I visited Morocco....and I fell in love with this world so my mission is to see it all.
I am looking for authentic experiences and fun adventures.

Besides traveling I LOVE yoga, movies, good books, music, meeting new people, hanging out with my dog, eating.....I guess I am a lover of life:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Beginner :).
I surfed few couches mainly in the USA and Europe it has always been so much fun.
And I am excited to host some fellow travellers as soon as I get back home from my big trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love rock, indie rock, reggae...anything that includes guitar I guess.
My favourties are oldschool bands such as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam. I really love Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Jack Johnson, Angus and Julia Stone, Vance Joy, Sticky Fingers, Alt-J, Jose Gonzales. Sometimes I like to listen to a good country music and when partying I always enjoy good EDM ....Kygo is my new favourite as well.

Movies: My favourite is definitely Forrest Gump. Besides that I love Chasing Maverics, Shawshenk redemption, 50/50, Frida, Pulp Fiction, Into the wild....

Books> As cheesy as it sounds I loved Fault in our stars. And also Alchimist, Why Nations Fail, On the road, Grapes of wrath, little prince

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know where to start :)
2012: trekking in the West Himalayas, because I proved to myself that where is a will, there is a way.
2013: backpacking in Kenya which gave me amazing opportunity to see diverse culture
2014: Oh jamaica :)
2015: music festival Coachella
2016: I already know which one was the most amazing. It is a bit personal so I'd rather share it personally

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you czech language (not sure if that would be useful haha). Also I have some fun travel stories which I can share....mostly with a glass of czech strong home-made booze :)
