About Me
CURRENT MISSION
working in the dominican republic teaching english, historical educational tourism, afrodominican culture, and community development
ABOUT ME
I have degrees in planning, anthropology, theology, and grad credits in philosophy and education. I am interested in social change and sustainable community development. Currently developing aproject in sustainable regenerative agriculture for the purposes of building sustainable communitie. Looking to make contact with programmers, mathematical modelers, oteldome builders, marketers, sales representatives, to assist NGO in developing project. Space is limited, but have access to guest house, local hotel, transportation, and religious services,if interested. I also live near all the beaches in the southern part of the Island, where there are specialties in dishes. Have visited,Ghana and Nigeria in Africa; Paris, France where I encountered the former Abbe Pierre of the Emmaus program and visited various sites with established Emmaus programs. These included,Cologne, the netherlands,Amsterdam. I also had the opportunity to visit Seoul, Korea on a 'goodwill' tour to ease ethnic tensions between Koreans and African Americans in New York.
Having come accept the idea that that we humans are living in a world undergoing a transition from modernity to post-modernity, I am interested in sharing ideas that will help us to develop the postmodern world view with people who have goodwill, have a love for humanity, interested in dialogue and developing a 'global' public sphere or social network of like minded people, and above all develop an ecological perspective sufficient to care for the earth. In addition, I like to party, have a good time with people, and deepen my spirituality. So if this suits your travel interests and you are looking for a host, contact me. Shalom!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
went on a trip to deliver food and medicine to a carribean community during a hurricane. organized a major conference on racism in the postmodern era with philosophers, ministers, academicians, and community leaders, went to Seoul Korea on a good will tour, also Ghana, and Paris where I visited the famous ABbe Pierre and his work with the homeless at Emmaus House. I learned about recycling used clothing, other household items. Visted Cologne, and the Netherlands as well. Haiti where my dad through his ministerial work had developed an orphanage for homeless youth. Was a high school drop-out at the time, but the experience inspired me to go to school to learn the requisite skills for community survival.
