Retired classical singer (tenor). Married to a professional organist and choir director. Lives in Berlin, Germany. Three adult children in the USA.

Interests

Music and cultural life generally excite me. I still perform as a soloist or choral singer. I have taken part in professional musicals and want to do more. My wife and I do some traveling as time and funds permit. I am also a news junky with a focus on economics and development, civil rights, etc. With my history degree, I am fascinated by cultural and intellectual history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My wife (US) and I (Canada) have lived in Europe for nearly our whole adult lives. We met there. But we also spent 10 years living and voyaging on a 34-foot wooden sailing vessel and sailed from Alaska to Ecuador and from Ecuador to New Zealand before returning to big city life and classical music.
