About Me

I was born in Brazil (São Paulo) and have Brazilian and Italian citizenship. I have a degree in Marine Biology and went to the USA for a second degree in IT. I love repairing broken things and creating new solutions. I worked as a handyman in Columbus, Ohio and Seattle, Washington to pay my bills for 12 years. I specialize in remodeling /upgrading/new additions/maintenance and recycling and reusing material when applicable. I like traveling, sailing, walking, and talking. I enjoy the outdoors and learning about different lifestyles.

In 2000, I walked 500 miles in northern Spain, (Saint James pilgrimage) between Roncesvalles and Santiago de Compostela, France. I lived in Candemil, a small quaint mountain village in northern Portugal for two years.

I traveled around Europe. Australia, South Africa, and South America (Machu Picchu). I was 18 when I took my first trip across central Brazil, Bolivia and Peru, returning through the rain forests on the Amazon River.

I like New Age, Jazz, classical, Bossa Nova, and Brazilian pop music.

In Brazil, I owned an aquarium maintenance and building business, which included fresh and salt water closed systems, terrarium, ponds, and waterfall. I also worked with aquaculture farms.

In the last ten years, I have been involved with permaculture, natural construction, biodynamic and organic food. I have also learned and practiced different lifestyles such as slow food, live food, holistic alternative therapies (Gerson Therapy, Andreas Moritz), naturopathy, and massage.

Last year I lived in Cordoba, Argentina, at the Umepay community, building natural houses, green roofs, adobe walls, and doing general maintenance. At the Buda Traslasierra community, I help develop and install the electrical systems, solar panel, 12 DC volts. In 2013, I lived at IPEC, in Goiás, central Brazil to reactivate and improve an aquaponic project.

At present, I am helping at a permaculture/biodynamic farm in Gonçalves, in southern Minas Gerais, Brazil, building a barn, honey room and infrastructure tanks, as well as doing maintenance services in a condominium located in Tabatinga, São Paulo.
