About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the world! (Frugally, of course)
ABOUT ME
There are always the typical answers: Witty, free-flowing, adventurous, easy to work with, respectful, light-hearted, optimistic, creative, all-in-all good person... the list goes on.
These are the answers my best friends would give to a stranger (note that this list does not include what they would say about me... if I happened to be there with them).
I am blessed with great companions yet I yearn to travel the world, build new bonds, enrich myself with new experiences and leave the cozy nest I was raised in. Life is funny isn't it?
Time to spread my wings.
PHILOSOPHY
Life gave you lemons, now go find that sugar and water!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Building my profile at the moment...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in Japan Summer 2014 for 3-4 days. Backpacked there for 4 weeks.
Interests
Sports: dodgeball, badminton, shotokan karate, latin dancing (only the basics), swimming, biking and skiing.
I would rather actually participate in the activity than watch it... watching sports is not my cup of tea.
Other: Public speaking, writing, sightseeing, and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy most genres of music (Not a big fan of heavy metal or rap). I prefer older songs over newer songs, however.
Books: I don't know where to begin. I a mostly a fan of fiction, as I have explored the realms of sci-fi, fantasy, classic, mystery, even romance (is it weird I enjoyed Pride and Prejudice with a passion? YOU decide!). I have indulged in the works of Asimov, Pullman, Pratchett, Heinlein, Christie, the list goes on.
Movies: Again, I don't really know where to start. I've watched classics, thrillers, action-packed-movies, almost everything. Pixar probably has a huge collection of my favorite movies, as well as Hayao Miyazaki's works. Pretty much anything with a high score on the internet movie database (IMDB), i have seen or will watch.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my earliest memories of travelling that I also cherish would have to be climbing the steps of Chichen Itza and peeking inside the ruins (before they decided to close it off for tourists).
Climbing the Great Wall of China was also fascinating, as I did not expect each step to be uneven, broken, or half a step higher than the last. I wonder to this day how that woman in front of me did it in high heels...
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have enough couch surfing experience to really teach anyone yet. Hopefully in the future!
