ABOUT ME

60-something. I love to travel and meet the world. I am not here to change it, rather to learn more about it. Working with my hands and my mind to make new things that often challenge me to new ideas and new hobbies.

I enjoy grafting apples, preserving heritage varieties, introducing new varieties to create a new legacy, and imagining the possibilities.

At the moment, I'm building an earthship, just because I can. It is an engineering exercise that collaborates with nature to use passive heat, light, gravity, place, and time. If you know what a "pesebre" is, I'm building it where grampa kept his sheep. It ties history with culture and some longevity, all together of very old memories. My son and grandkids have touched it and in 300-years, it will still be there for theirs. Permanence.
