From Jan.15th 2012 - July 2012: Traveling in a VW Vanagon across America. Blogging about it HERE
Graduate of Portland State University. Double business major. Currently working as a photographer, and hope to do so the rest of my life. I moved to Portland from a small town 3 hours south of here, about 7 years ago. Been living the big city life, as big as Oregon has to offer, and loving it.
Carpe Diem. I would rather enjoy my youth today then my elder years later. I want to explore and enjoy this world while I am young and able. Who knows, may never see old age, but the last thing I want to do is look back and think "I sure wish I had...".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just looking to meet some new and amazing people that are passing through the area, moving to this wonderful city, or already live here. Would also love to be able to utilize some couches whilst traveling about the world, as I hope to soon be doing.
During my 2012 road trip, I finally stayed on CS'ers couch while in Vegas. Other then that, I have not really couch surfed before, I have however been driveway surfing since January 2012 in my Vanagon, making my way about the US for a few months.
Photography, bouldering, hiking, camping, adventure, riding my bike, learning new things, etc.
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - all over the place, folk, old punk rock, some country, anything, etc...
Movies - Boondock Saints, Fear and Loathing, Inconvenient Truth, Crude Awakening, documentaries in general, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Ireland for Saint Patrick's Day with my friend. Then back to Germany and rode the train down to Munich. Seen a lot in three weeks, had a lot of fun.
More recently: Traveled the US living in a VW Vanagon for 6 months. Down the west coast, then all the way to the Atlantic. Just working from the road, staying with CS'ers and having the time of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a photographer I am always interested in helping people learn more about it and improve their own abilities. There is a lot to learn and I would be more then happy to show you what I know.
