About Me

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ronit and I'm basically from Gujarat, India but currently located in Amman, Jordan for my onsite assignment working as a software engineer from past 2 years.
I do make youtube videos now and then, and exploring the art of videography, the main agenda for pursing the activity is to capture memories and searching the real meaning of life.
My thinking is while you can make some, by all means do otherwise there won't be any to live with after, when you can't make new ones.
Given my profession, I do spend majority of my time sitting in front of a laptop. But, whenever I get time, be it vacation or weekends, I like to explore whatever I possibly can.
The main aim of life for me would be to explore/experience as many places, languages, cultures, food, people and activities as the world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of couch surfing was very recently introduced to me, and I became in awe of this entire structure. The biggest hurdle for any traveller, in an ideal case in my opinion, would be to indulge in to the alien culture and to be a part of the community not as a foreigner but as a local person and couch surfing bridges that exact gap. So, my expectations from couch surfing is to become the saviour from the start of my solo travelling to help me open much more worldly doors with the best of opportunities. I too, can return the same to each and everyone out there looking for something similar.

Interests

I like to travel, capture memories, meet new people, make YouTube videos, to cook, to eat, to watch animes and to contribute to any possible social activities to make this world a better place for everyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be honest, I don't think I have one yet
One that is currently coming to my mind is joining CS, don't know whether it counts :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Greetings in Hindi(National Indian Language), teach you to cook spicy Indian food, provide insights on the ideals we as Indians follow. Basically show you the interior of the things go inside of an Indian Mind :)
Given my background, I can assist you in any possible technical challenges.

I want to learn about your culture, language, any possible local recipe you can teach, how you spend your time, what's your philosophy on the subject of life and basically anything that I don't already know

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer the insights about my culture, teach couple of basic terminologies in my regional as well as national language, teach an Indian receipe or two. I also can provide some assistance in tech-space, given my background.
And obviously, accompany for any possible future trip, as it's just the start for me so probably anywhere you want to visit, count me in :)
