About Me

Hello fellow couchsurfers!

I'm settled in Loviisa, a beautiful coastal town about 100km east from Helsinki. I travel back and forth daily to attend classes at the University of Helsinki and for my job in Helsinki city center. During week days a couchsurfer can hop on and spend a night or two in the country side and then get a ride back to the civilization ;)

Cheers,

Ronja

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted quite many exchange students (at my parents' house and on my own). Couchsurfing is kind of a express-version of it :) I've also been a CS guest myself a couple of times and I've met awesome people and had tons of fun!

Interests

During my time off I enjoy diving, running with my dog, gym and dance lessons, playing tennis, reading, meeting friends... I also teach snorkeling, scuba diving, baby- and toddler swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big music lover. I've studied music in the academy for many years and I can play the accordion (yup, that's right :D ) I love the Latin rhythms like bachata and salsa and Spanish reggae/pop/rock, but I'm just as happy to listen to the hits on the radio or some harder rock. Every now and then I head out to the electro clubs to stomp to the beat all night long ;)

I don't even watch TV nowadays, but a good comedy or a movie based on a true story/historical place or event is a treat sometimes.

When I'm fed up with studying, I like to read anything easy and fun to give my mind a rest. I also use reading as a way to keep my Swedish and German fresh.
